Easter

First of all we are very thankful that we survived the tornados that happened Friday night! Matt and I were on an amazing date night and Averi was with her Mimi having fun at Chucky Cheese 5 minutes away from the airport (which was hit by a tornado). Thank you God for watching over our family and friends!

We love holiday's we have a lot of friends from Lee's Summit that have family in the St. Louis area and we love having them stop by! Thursday night Amanda came and hung out with us and Saturday morning Stacy and Madeline came by to play!!!

Friday before we left for out date night we had a great time with Averi coloring our Easter eggs for the Easter Bunny!! She had such a good time and so did we! Just seeing the joy on her face makes Matt and I just melt. Averi is getting REALLY good at hunting eggs! She had 4 egg hunts!!! She is a PRO! Saturday night Averi was so excited to set out carrots for the Easter Bunny and a bowl of water! We had a great Easter and feel so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends! WE did MISS going to the lake this year with the Desmond side of the family BUT next year we will be there!! Watch out Adult Easter Egg hunt 2012 here we come!!

Easter Egg Hunt

This weekend went by WAY too fast!! Friday night was date night with Averi! We went to Red Robin for dinner, FroYo for dessert and Playtime for some fun! Averi gets so excited for our date nights and hope she continues to love them even when she has to share them with her baby brother!! Who is coming any day now!! Averi is really excited for Gavin's arrival she saw a baby picture of herself today and said that she wants her baby brother to be here now! It melts my heart when she says his name or plays Peek A Boo with my belly!

Saturday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt where Mimi and Gramps live. It was cold and rainy but we made it through and Averi had such a good time. It was quick but she loved it! She was able to see the Easter Bunny and hunt eggs with Daddy! Her favorite part might of been going back to Mimi and Gramps' house to open the eggs and see all the candy she got! Caleb, Keegan and Robby she has plenty of gum for you boys!!

Outside Fun

Weekend full of outside fun! Grandmama and Pa came in town and we had such a great time playing outside and working on landscaping! Thank you guys so much for all your help! It wasn't all work and no play, well at least for Averi. She had a great time playing with her new water table, playing in the sprinkler and taking a ride in her wagon with Pa!

This is our cute little neighbor Trent with Averi. Before this picture was able to happen let me just set up the scene. Trent was riding his car around the court and Averi went out there all by herself and leaned up against his car and started talking to him while twirling her hair and crossing her legs. I am not making this up!! Trent's mom and I were just cracking up watching this happen. I wasn't able to get to the camera fast enough but it was a moment I have in my mind that I will not forget! We heard Averi ask Trent for a ride and at first he said no, then she went around to the other side and leaned on the car, that is when I ran inside to get the camera. By the time I came back out guess who was in the car?!?? Averi!!! This was so funny!

Friday Fun Days!

Over the past month we have had some fun Friday's with some amazing little girls and wonderful Mom's! We had the tea party, we went to get our nails and toes done and this past Friday we went to Jump for Fun!! The girls are just having so much fun together and the Mom's look forward to some adult time!! I just love being a stay at home Mom, I am so thankful! Averi and I are making some great friends and building memories!!

Gymnastics

Last week was watch week at gymnastics and it was so fun to see Averi. This was only the 2 week for Averi and she did wonderful! I was so proud of her!!! Enjoy the photos!

Lovin' Life

I just have to say that life right now just couldn't be any better! I am married to an amazing man, have the best daughter that inspires me everyday and we have a baby boy on the way that is already 6lbs!! Thank you God!!!!!

This weekend the weather was fantastic and we took advantage of it!! Saturday Averi had a BIG SIS class where she learned how to be a fantastic sister!! We also went into a hospital room to show her were Mommy and Daddy will be when the baby is born. It was so cute she looked up at me and said "I'll miss you Mommy!" Just broke my heart!! Another thing broke my heart as we were in this class. There was another little girl in the class who was a preemie and she was only 1lb. She is doing great now but as we were touring the hospital she was screaming crying saying

"not me, don't take me." Poor thing had seen so many doctors that seeing the hospital rooms scared her to pieces. It took everything I had to hold back my tears. We are just so thankful that Averi is happy and healthy. We are also VERY thankful that our little boy is still growing big and strong inside me! I am almost 36 weeks now!! Yea!!

This weekend we also took Averi down to the Arch for the 1st time!! I can't believe we have never taken her before! We went to a couple different parks with Averi too this weekend. I just have to say I LOVE seeing Averi and Matt play together! They both just enjoy the moment!! We also had a wonderful photo shoot in the wind storm on Sunday! Here are a few pics from the weekend! Tea Party

Wow this was by far one of the best things we have done. This was absoulutly the cutest thing ever, this girls had so much fun just being girls! All of us Mom's were just trying to soak in all these amazing personalities and hilarious words that came out of these girls' mouths! Averi keep pouring "tea" (leamonade) into her tea cup and every time I held my breathe hoping it would spill all over. She really ended up doing great. We were trying to teach the girls how to sip their tea with their pinkies up but Keely was the only one who got that! Averi and Ava were really good "sippers!!" Bathroom breaks happened a lot because of all the "tea" and when Averi and I were in there she told me "this is the best day ever, I am having so much fun." Melted my heart, this was the perfect thing to do with her before out little boy comes! Big Thanks to Tiffany because she is the one that found this Tea Room!!
